Analog Way announces Smart MatriX, a brand new High-End Scaled Matrix

Smart MatriX by Analog Way is a powerful new Scaled Matrix. Thanks to its advanced matrix features and numerous effects, Smart MatriX is the ideal solution for high-end installations and Houses of Worship applications requiring the display of several sources on multiple screens.
Smart MatriX offers up to 12 inputs including 4 fitted with SDI and 2 fitted with DVI-D. With state of the art 100% digital processing, Smart MatriX outputs Digital and Analog Signals in DVI and VGA (RGBHV) simultaneously with a selection of many formats from HDTV to Computer 2K.

Smart MatriX offers a 12 x 2 Scaled Native Matrix mode with true seamless switching. The switch between any of the 12 inputs can be in cut or fade and synchronized on the 2 outputs.
In addition, Smart MatriX offers PIP features in matrix mode: up to 2 PIPs can be displayed on a still background by output, 1 PIP on a still background with seamless effects or 1 PIP with title effects on a live background. PIPs can be customized by the users with various attributes: Borders, Movements, Pan and Zoom resizing up to 1000%, Open/Close animation, Flying, Zooming and Cropping PIPs, Cut, Fade and Wipe.
A mirror function allows to display a PIP sent on the first output on the second output. The PIP size and position are automatically restored on the second display, reducing the number of manipulations for the operator. The user can select axial or non-axial symmetry for the PIP sent on the output#2.

Logo and Full Frame can be recorded in the large non volatile memory of Smart MatriX: 8 still logos, including an animated one, and 8 full screen frames. These elements can be uploaded from computer files via Ethernet LAN or RS232 connections or acquired from the displayed image.

Integrated Audio Stereo switcher features 12 inputs (8 analog and 4 from embedded SDI) and 2 outputs. An additional auxiliary input can be mixed into any output. Master volume and individual input level can be adjusted. Each input and output offers balanced or unbalanced connections.

The Video Output card provides SD or HD TV formats in various signals from Composite Video to HD SDI. This output can be used to record the show through four different display modes (recording of output#1 only, recording of output#2 only, recording of outputs #1 above output #2 or output #1 next to output #2). Thanks to a new non-proprietary link, the video out can be used with any cable.

Fully controlled from its Remote Control Software (supplied), from the Orchestra, or from the new Axion 2 remote consoles, Smart MatriX offers a large range of utilization. Equipped with TCP/IP and dual RS232, Smart MatriX can be updated with new features and functions improving its life time.

Smart MatriX also comes in a Light Edition, Smart MatriX LE, with lighten functions to meet the needs of less complex installations.
