The tubular Trapeze bar is normally supplied as a one foot long (30.5cm) stereo bar. Shown above is a two foot (61cm) long Trapeze that can support four microphones. Longer Trapeze configurations up to 5' (152cm) long are also available.
The Trapeze bar is normally deployed by two Servoreelers. Each of the Servoreelers will deploy a two conductor microphone cable to support a stereo pair. Optionally, as shown above, both Servoreelers can deploy four conductor microphone cable thereby able to support a total of four microphones. A traditional Decca Tree is also offered using these components.
To assure tandem operation, the Servoreeler speeds must be adjusted so that both units operate at the same rate. Fifteen turn speed trims are located on the rear panel of the SRC controller. Newer controllers are configured with a three position selector switch above the pair of pushbutton stations controlling the Trapeze Pair. This switch allows individual control of each Servoreeler for trimming and in the center position; either pushbutton will activate both mechanisms simultaneously.
The total cable length loaded into each Servoreeler has been matched to help them track each other reliably. The CP-1 cable clamp should be installed at the same cable position on each mechanism. Any excess cable can be coiled and tied off.

 • Cantilever Arm Adjustment:
 • This segment provides a means of compensating for any off center weight of the microphones.
 • Adjust the offset of this arm so the trapeze hangs straight from the support cables after the microphones are set to their final positions.
