OCC designs and manufactures MIL-DTL-83526/16 plugs and /17 receptacles (4 channel) based on emerging (soon to be released) MIL-DTL-83526C, MIL-DTL-83526/16, MIL-DTL-83526/17 and MIL-DTL-29504/16 specifications. This high performance tactical/deployable connector system is designed to the latest MIL-DTL-83526/16 & /17 specifications, and is inter-matable and inter-changeable with the Amphenol Fiber Systems International (AFSI) M83526 sytle connectors. Plug-to-plug (MIL-DTL-83526/16) assemblies are available in configurations of 2 and 4 channels, fabricated with 2 or 4 fiber military tactical cable. Receptacle assemblies are available in Jam Nut (MIL-DTL-83526/17) or Flange Mount (MIL-DTL-82526/18) configurations and provide for choice of MIL ST, COTS ST, SC, FC, LC or MT-RJ pigtails. Standard plug configurations include hermaphroditic dust caps and receptacle configurations include female dust caps. These style fiber optic assemblies can only be sold to the United States Government or to contractors servicing the United States Government.
