The RocketRAID 4500 series 6Gbps SAS/SATA RAID HBA's were designed to meet the demanding requirements of professional business and media applications, where consistent performance, data availability and reliability of storage are paramount. The RocketRAID 4500 HBA's dedicated RAID-on-Chip processor and 512MB of onboard DDR 3 cache memory offloads RAID processing from the host system, ensuring stable and high-performance data transfer. RocketRAID 4500 HBA's are direct upgrades for our 3Gbps RocketRAID 4300 Series Hardware RAID Controllers. Customers with existing RAID configurations can move these directly from the 4300 series controller to the RocketRAID 4500 HBA.
