Kramer Electronics USA hires David Goldsmith
Goldsmith named Sierra Video Midwest Region Sales Manager

Kramer Electronics, a worldwide supplier of innovative and reliable signal management products, is pleased to announce that it has hired David Goldsmith as its new Midwest Regional Sales Manager for Sierra Video.

Goldsmith, who comes to Kramer Electronics USA with an extensive background in A/V and broadcast sales, will work with our dealers in Kramer’s Midwest Region as their main Sierra Video contact, as well as develop new opportunities in both current and new applications and markets.

“David has a long history of sales accomplishments in the dealer channel with both broadcast and Pro A/V products and we are very fortunate to find someone with as much experience as David,” stated Dave Bright, president of Kramer Electronics USA. “With his knowledge, experience and proven track record of developing excellent customer relationships he will be a key addition to the Kramer family.”

Goldsmith began his career as the director of television and media services at a teaching hospital. Five years later he moved into a sales manger position at the dealer level, and focused on developing customer relationships with broadcast, production, corporate and educational customers. After five years working with the dealer he started a dealership and after 10 years of success implemented the system integration division of the company. He moved to the manufacturing side of the industry almost two years ago and enjoyed great success managing the Midwest region for QuStream.

Goldsmith has also enjoyed over 25 years of career development as a freelance technician for ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, VERSUS, ESPN and other major networks. His responsibilities of Video Technician & Technical Manager have provided him with great knowledge and experience in remote television production.

Goldsmith graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications degree and completed post-graduate studies in Business Administration at The University of Toledo. He currently resides in Perrysburg, Ohio.
