Lutron Electronics Reveals the Results of its ‘Contractors Win with Lutron Sensors’ Promotion

From new lighting control systems and sensors to two trips of a lifetime, contractors won big by purchasing Lutron’s reliable and easy-to-install in-wall and wireless sensors.
Coopersburg, PA (June 23, 2015) – Lutron Electronics, the leader in energy-saving, wireless lighting and shade control, today announced the results of its exciting “Contractors Win with Lutron Sensors” promotion. The sweepstakes was developed to celebrate and boost awareness of Lutron’s award-winning, reliable and simple-to-install sensors, including the new Maestro® 0-10V dimmer sensor. Hundreds of contractors won prizes, including two grand prize winners who received trips of a lifetime, plus $4,000 (list) worth of Lutron Caséta™ Wireless products for their homes, as well as a custom training session to fit their business needs and preferences. Caséta Wireless provides end-users with convenient control of lights, shades and temperature – all from a smart phone or tablet.
The grand prize winners – Michael Belue of Robinsville, Miss. and Kevin Duffy of Manchester, N.H. – received their awards at ceremonies on June 9 and 11 respectively. Each winner had the opportunity to choose between the following four trips of a lifetime valued at approximately $26,000:
A trip for two to the 2016 Professional Football’s Big Game in San Francisco
A trip for four to Indy’s Big Race in Indianapolis
A sun and sea escape trip for four to Miami Beach, FL
A fly fishing adventure trip for four to Gateway Canyons, CO
Fifteen regional winners each won $2,000 (list) worth of Lutron Caséta Wireless products for their homes, as well as a custom training session to fit their business needs and preferences, and hundreds of contractors won Lutron Maestro in-wall occupancy sensors, each valued at $55 (list).
The “Contractors Win with Lutron Sensors” promotion - which ran October 1, 2014 through January 31, 2015 - was open to any U.S. electrical contractor, electrical maintenance or facilities manager at least 21 years of age.
