The prestigious new Marriott Courtyard Hotel in Istanbul has chosen to rely on just one major supplier for its fire alarm, PA/emergency evacuation and CCTV installations: Bosch Security Systems.
The 262-room hotel is located in a triangular area bordered by Istanbul International Airport, and congress, fair and exhibition centers. In this ideal location, the hotel naturally attracts a lot of guests, and the owners were determined to make no compromises when choosing a security system to ensure the safety of their guests and property. Bosch was selected principally because of the company’s solid reputation in fire alarm, emergency-evacuation with professional sound and CCTV-surveillance systems, but also because of the outstanding warranty conditions and the excellent service provided locally by Bosch and the System Integrator.
The fire alarm system includes an addressable panel from the Bosch Modular Fire Panel 5000 series and 1600 addressable points divided over 24 loops. This is connected to a Bosch Praesideo Public Address and Emergency Evacuation System to create a combination that provides perfect coverage meeting all the hotel’s requirements allowing fast and safe evacuation of the premises in the event of a fire or other emergency.
The video surveillance system comprises 48 FlexiDome cameras connected to three Divar MR digital video recorders, and monitors all important areas of the hotel whilst blending in perfectly with the hotel’s aesthetic design.
