Broadata Communications - Link Bridge Technology

Too many signals, too much hardware, and distance limitations drive need for single enclosure HDCP-compliant solutions out to HDMI/DVI over fiber optic cable

Torrance, CA June 1, 2012 – Broadata Communications, Inc (BCI), provides audio, video, and data transport solutions over fiber and is proud to introduce the Link Bridge Technology platform.  Broadata Communications will be releasing over 63 new products at the InfoComm show in Las Vegas; the most products launched in company history.
“Broadata’s Link Bridge allows for a complete audio, video, and data transport solution with unprecedented installation options.” said Devan Cress BCI Sales manager. “Systems integrators can think outside the box with 1000’s of installation options that now include decora wall plates, matrix switchers, copper converters, and chassis.”

With so many possible signal formats including HDMI, DVI, HD-SDI, S-video, Composite video and RGB, converting, processing and transmitting all the required inputs to HDMI or DVI over fiber optics requires a cluster of off-the-shelf extenders, converters, switches and cabling.

The Link Bridge platform solves this signal transport problem by converting all video signals to a common format inside the box and then distributing it over a single fiber optical cable.  By eliminating devices and points of possible failure; Link Bridge creates the most robust trouble free solution on the market.  The box solution now comes in a common size format with one software platform, further simplifying the installation process. Available both as a fiber optic extender or a copper converter Link Bridge can transport your video, audio, and data signals up to 1500 feet at full 1080P resolution.  Link Bridge is electrically isolated so you have no need to worry about interference issues or signal loss.

In order to provide a complete solution for the transport of audio, video, and data Broadata Communication has added a 32x32 matrix switch to the Link Bridge family.  This will provide an end to end solution for the transport of signals throughout an installation.  This new switch allows pluggable blades that can be DVI, HDMI, or fiber.  Broadata continues to simplify the installation process with the greatest flexibility in the market.
