Fusion Catalyst 4500 Now Supports Up To 216 Inputs, 96 Outputs

September 29, 2014 – Atlanta – Jupiter Systems, the leading worldwide supplier of collaborative visualization solutions for video walls, PCs, and mobile devices, today announced the introduction of the Fusion Catalyst™ 4500 Expansion Chassis (FC4500E) as an option for the flagship Fusion Catalyst™ 4500 Display Wall Processor. The FC4500E provides the following new capabilities and features:
Add up to 4 Expansion Chassis to a Fusion Catalyst 4500 Display Wall Processor to increase configuration options
Supports up to 108 streaming video inputs via Jupiter’s Quad HD Decoder Card
Supports up to 54 DVI-I, progressive scan component HD, or analog RGB inputs via Jupiter’s DVI-I Input Card
Supports up to 216 video inputs via Jupiter’s Octal SD Video Input Card
Supports up to 96 outputs with ControlPoint™, up to 48 outputs with Canvas
Supports both Canvas collaborative visualization software and ControlPoint™ display wall management software from Jupiter Systems
“With the introduction of the Fusion Catalyst 4500 in June, Jupiter delivered the best and newest display wall technology available,” said Eric Wogsberg, President, Jupiter Systems. “Now, customers can add up to four Expansion Chassis to a Fusion Catalyst 4500 and greatly expand the number of inputs and outputs that can be used. Even the largest video wall projects are now supported by the Fusion Catalyst 4500.”
The Fusion Catalyst 4500 Expansion Chassis will be available for ordering as an option for the Fusion Catalyst 4500 display wall processor in mid-October 2014.
