Las Vegas, NV (April 13, 2015) – Telemetrics Inc. is showcasing its expanded line of elevating pedestals this week at NAB. Featured is the new EP6 Series, the company’s next generation of Televator elevating pedestals, with a choice of different sizes to meet the needs of multiple production environments and applications.
The new EP6-350, EP6-700 and EP6-1000 Televators can be ceiling or floor mounted and accommodate all Telemetrics pan/tilt heads, studio dolly kit and the TG4 camera track system. For added production convenience, they are virtual-set ready.
"The EP6-1000 has an impressive range of travel," said Anthony Cuomo, President, Telemetrics, Inc. "Now, with the EP6 Series delivering more choices, directors and production managers can select the Televator that best suits their needs and application."
The pedestals are designed with 32-bit encoding for quiet, smooth variable speed operation, as well as with an accurate, absolute positional servo for outstanding repeatability. For added convenience, the pedestals feature integral cable management and an auxiliary control bus interface. The EP6 Series also enables coordinated pedestal/trolley/pan/tilt moves when integrated in an all-Telemetrics system.
