Provides Extended Elevation of Up to 65-inches at Up to 5-inches/second.
Amsterdam, Netherlands  – Telemetrics has released an enhanced version of its popular Televator® Elevating Pedestal.  The newly released EP5 is a dual stage unit that delivers elevation speeds ranging from 0.2 to 5-inches/second with a maximum elevation extended height of 68-inches. Additionally, the unit can be mounted on the floor, wall or inverted on the ceiling, and is seamlessly compatible with Telemetrics’ comprehensive line of camera robotics track and pan/tilt systems. The Televator EP5 is ideal for a wide range of applications that require a more versatile approach due to studio, room or design challenges and space limitations.

“Maintaining creativity in today’s production environment has increased the demand for increasingly innovative camera robotic systems and controls,” said Anthony Cuomo, Vice President and General Manager, Telemetrics, Inc. “Our new Televator EP5has been redesigned with advanced functionality and performance to address these needs.
The EP5 provide higher performance than typical tripod or camera pedestals. It’s a feature rich solution with a comprehensive selection of installation and performance options.”

The Televator EP5 remotely controlled motorized telescoping tripod is designed to add increased pedestal height control to the Telemetrics pan/tilt systems, and its quiet operation makes it ideally suited for on-air moves. It can be mounted on Telemetrics floor dollies or floor mounting plate with optional mounting configurations for trolley, track and ceiling mount using the ceiling mount plate or on Telemetrics TG3 ceiling track systems.

Extending to a maximum height of 68 inches (1727mm), the Televator EP5 features an acceleration speed ranging from 0.2 to 5 inches/second (0.5 – 127mm/sec). It offers an auxiliary control serial interface and positional servo control as well as being convergent capable. A virtual studio option allows the Televator® Elevating Pedestal 5 to be used in virtual studio applications.
