•Building Esports Facilities & Technology Labs and Why They Are Important

Most schools start their esports programs in a classroom room with few resources aside from eager students. These classrooms evolve into esports labs and feature a competitive playing and broadcast area, instruction, and design space, and more. State of the art facilities include a gaming arena where esports teams can compete in front of a live audience.  Discover how important these different stages are for learning through direct exposure and engagement.

“It's an honor to host these sessions at FETC 2022 with our close partner Ruben Caputo from Cal State University of Dominguez Hills,” said Danny Ordway, Vertical Marketing Manager at ViewSonic. “We are both excited to share insight and examples on developing an innovative esports program, building a multi-use incubator lab, student development, community involvement, career opportunities, the power of working with sponsors and much more. These sessions will provide a company sponsor perspective and an educational institution's perspective on supporting and growing esports in education programs.”
